Having photographed the Val Dorcia before I knew there would be mist rising in the early morning. I got up before sunrise to shoot this. This area is protected as a UNESCO World Heritage Site so no new building is allowed and its historical feel is preserved. I chose a sepia toned black and white treatment to augment the timeless feel of this landscape.
