Light streaming through the windows and vines growing in this ancient bath house in Italy seemed to bring an otherwise dark and dank room to life. And rendering it extremely difficult to capture. I waited for my eyes to adjust to the dim light to determine how to depict the feel of this room. Patience, composition, and exposure were the keys to convey the sense of current and past life in this calidarium.
