I was driving on the switchbacks on my way to a remote location at the North Rim of the Grand Canyon. I encountered a hail and rain storm so bad I couldn’t see and had to pull over. In spite of this I was excited knowing that such storms can provide extra drama at the canyon. I had to bush whack through some of the densest brush I’ve ever encountered to make it to the rim in time to catch sunset and storm together in this beautiful medley of weather.
