Anniversary Dinner

For the last two years, our anniversary has fallen during our Tuscany workshop.  We've made a point of celebrating it either before or after the workshop.  Last night, we celebrated in a nearby village with an amazing view, meal and Chianti wine!  What a wonderful place to celebrate- we feel very lucky to return to Italy every year. … [Read more...]

Big Bike Race in a Small Town

Today, we were lucky enough to be part of the "crowd" during a national cycling race.  Watching how excited the people were was just as fun as the race itself.  All the locals were posted at their windows to watch it, a better view than from the street I think. After the racers left on their 150km journey, we noticed the trophy tent...  Only in … [Read more...]

Today we were actually in Siena- I hope to get a shot or two from our participants for my next post!  Siena is one … [Read more...]

It’s a Beautiful Day

The sun shone on us all day yesterday...  The first shot is by a participant, Talal Bakr.  This hillside is near a well known abbey with well groomed vines and cypress trees to go with the perfect sky.  Thank you Talal! After the abbey, we stopped at this amazing field of poppies to photograph.  After the rain, there were even more poppies than … [Read more...]
